If you are interested in math tutoring, please specify the school grade level and any specifics regarding the math needs of the student. I tutor only mathematics, and I accept new students in any of the grades 7 to 11.
Typically, I will come to see the student one hour per week, as long as you live in Vancouver. I find that we can usually go through any difficulties during this session, and then discuss the study work to be done by the student for the rest of the week until next time.
Online tutoring is an option that I am interested in exploring, and I will work with anybody who would like tutoring via email, messenger, or even Skype. Since this will be a new experiment, I will not charge anything for this in the beginning, until things are working well.
Important note: my emphasis will always be to make sure that the student learns to do mathematics herself or himself. I will not do assignments for students. Rather, I will teach students how to do their assignments.
